Driving Directions to Smugglers' Notch Resort

Below are recommended directions to Smugglers' Notch Resort. We do suggest you bring along a road map covering the areas in which you will be traveling.

Note: The historic Smugglers' Notch Pass, on Route 108 between Stowe and Jeffersonville, is closed in the Winter and closed year around to motor coaches, motor homes and commercial vehicles.

From Burlington International Airport to Smugglers'
(Approx. 35 miles or 45 minutes)

Upon exiting the Airport, turn left onto Airport Road. Then turn right onto Williston Road at the traffic light. Follow Williston Road to I-89N. Take Exit 15 (Winooski) onto Route 15E through Essex Junction to Jeffersonville. Take Route 108 S to Smugglers' located on the left about 5 miles from Jeffersonville.

Routing from Burlington to Smugglers'. There are several options:

1. Take I-89N. Take Exit 15 (Winooski) onto Route 15E through Essex Junction to Jeffersonville. Take Route 108S to Smugglers', located on the left, about 5 miles from Jeffersonville.

2. From Williston Road to Taft Corners (intersection of Route 2 & Route 2A), turn left on to Route 2A. Follow Route 2A to Essex Junction "5 corners" and take Route 15E to Jeffersonville.

3. If you are coming from south of Burlington via Route 7 to I-189 to I-89N. Take Exit 15 onto Route 15E to Jeffersonville. Take Route 108S to Smugglers', located on the left, about 5 miles from Jeffersonville.

Traveling to and from Canada
For U.S. & Canadian residents traveling across the Canadian border, you will need to bring along either a valid driver's license, birth certificate or passport. U.S. resident aliens will also need a Green Card. All other foreign country residents will need their valid passport with I94 document.
If you are crossing the American/Canadian border and do not have your I94 document with you, you will need your valid passport and a visa. There will be a nominal fee to prepare the I94 documentation for you.
